I am Samantha Setlaelo, a change catalyst, teacher, healer and channel for spirit. I am a multi-dimensional being, remembering and drawing from all the consciousness I have been and will be to heal myself and inspire healing in others.

My call towards affecting change has seen me involved in teaching, activism, storytelling and the current healing work I am doing which emphasises change from within.

My background in advocacy saw me working at The Foundation for Human Rights where I headed a roundtable on mental health and raised awareness through writing. I was also involved with activism around gender based violence collaborating with organisations such as Sonke Gender Justice. My advocacy work also continued through working with an organisation called 'RapeNoMore' raising awareness through performance and industrial theatre.

I spent 2013- 2017 in the television and film industry where I would work my way up to becoming one of a handful of female television directors. During the time I also ran a production company which saw me producing and directing meaningful social responsibility messages for an organisation called 'Brother's for Life' which educates on living with HIV and addresses issues around gender-based violence in and amongst other work. These sort of projects merged my love for storytelling and advocacy.

I transitioned out of my career in the television and film industry to commit to the parallel journeys of my ancestral and spiritual callings when I could no longer ignore, avoid or deny the messages of my own trauma. I would start to learn how to transmute and transform these traumatic experiences and use them to activate my own magic. I am now guiding and supporting others who also feel the call to freedom.
